After-School Enrichment Program

Parks & Recreation will again be sponsoring an After School Program for the school year 2010-11.  The program will be for children in grades 3rd thru 8th as of Fall ‘10 school year.  It will run from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM each day.  Parents can choose from a 1 to 5 day schedule.  The supervisor for the program will be Gary Sherrick.  Gary has been working with the P&R Department for the last 10 summers as Camp Counselor.   He just completed a very successful 2009-10 After School Program and want to continue to make it even better.   The program will be structured as such:  adequate  time for homework assignments, computer time will be utilized to make certain projects / homework  easier to accomplish.  After that, they will be given a snack and time for sport games &  Arts & Crafts.  Parties for holidays will also be on the slate, with many other surprises to follow.   Gary will create a safe environment for your child, as he looks forward to a another very successful program.
